skylanders

The Cyclopses are horned one-eyed enemies in the Skylanders franchise. They first appeared in solid red color with white eyes as Kaos' minions, but later their normal versions appear in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, and for the rest of the series appear as enemies with few exceptions. Cyclopses are known for being stinky due to them not ever taking baths.

There are also another variety of Cyclopses called Snowclopses, who reside in the cold areas of Skylands, and Ruins Guardians, gigantic Cyclopses with cloven feet who lead others to plunder the Distorted Dimensions.

History

Cyclopses come in different forms, they can be big or small, strong or weak. All of them however have a single beady eye to spot strangers with. These bad beasts are far from sociable, if they spy any outsiders, they will attack them, making these unfriendly creatures a real nuisance for Skylanders. Kaos often enlists their help in his schemes.[1]

According to a Story Scroll, Cyclopses are also stone masons, having constructed stone castles, statues, and temples throughout the Skylands, but their stone carved ships of the Cyclops Navy were not their proudest moment.

Story

Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure

The cyclopses guard the Crystal Eye within the Crystal Eye Castle and the Eternal Earth Source within Stonetown.

Skylanders: Giants

Cyclopses first appear as audience spectators in Rumbletown, but make their first presence as enemies in Cutthroat Carnival. They have a notable presence in Glacier Gully, where they are led by the Ice Ogre Noodles, as well as in Molekin Mountain where they are led by Pipsqueak, a Mohawk Cyclops.

Skylanders: Swap Force

The Cyclopses launch an attack on the Boney Islands and re-appear in the subsequent winter-themed chapters. Several cyclopes were amongst the retinue who accompanied Kaossandra when she visits her son Kaos and two of them flank the chair which she sits in when Kaos first learns of their arrival.

Cyclopses only appear in The Future of Skylands and in Sunscraper Spire as standard enemies.
