Crabs are one of the native inhabitants of Skylands, resembling land-based humanoid crabs. One notable crab is Wham-Shell, one of the Skylanders.

Trivia
- Unlike real Crabs, they have clawed fingers, instead of pinchers.
- Wham-Shell is the only Crab to be a Skylander and a playable character.
- There is also a huge monstrous species of crab, known as the Leviathan Cloud Crab that lives in the Sky. The Giant Skylander Thumpback attempted to catch this large crustacean, but was instead pulled off into the sky and eventually lost the Crab.
- As revealed by the alpha dialogue for Swap Force, villainous crabs supporting Baron von Shellshock were originally planned to appear in Motleyville.[1]
- A textureless model for said crabs would later be used for the crabs in Skylanders: SuperChargers.
