Woof is a Seadog Pirate who first appeared in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. He is part of Dreadbeards band of pirates of who occupy Plunder Island. Along with his crew, he plundered the Coconut Islands and captured the town's citizens. He is encountered guarding a gate and challenges the Skylanders to beat his MERMAID DECK.

He later reappears in Skylanders: Giants as one of the pirates running the Cutthroat Carnival. When the Skylanders try to proceed to Pirate Island, he stops them, claiming they "aren't playing with a full deck" and need to collect more Skystones. This is a way to push them into challenging Bandit to a game of Skystones, after which he finally allows them to pass.
