The Stone Monkeys, also known as the Grave Monkeys, are the guardians of Rampant Ruins in Skylanders: Swap Force. For thousands of years, they have stood over the robot cemetery, stomping on robots that attempt to rise from the grave and they can sometimes be seen eating large bananas.
The Skylanders activated a Stone Monkey in their fight against Evil Glumshanks. Upon being activated, the graveyard guardian approached the evilized troll and stopped him from continuing his operations that disturbed the ruins. However, Evil Glumshanks retaliated by ramming his Arkeyan tank into the Stone Monkey, knocking them both over the edge of the cemetery. The Stone Monkey landed behind the Arkeyan Ruins Battle Arena and is seen still and not being able to move.

Trivia
Despite Swap Force stating that a sole specimen exists, multiple smaller Stone Monkeys exist in the Temple of Arkus section of the Rampant Ruins in Skylanders: SuperChargers.
In Swap Force's alpha voicelines, Tessa refers to the Stone Money as a "stone totem."[1]
