Shadow Knights are living suits of armor that appear in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. They can be found in two levels of the game, Creepy Citadel and Lair of Kaos. Shadow Knights attack the Skylanders by slowly walking up to them and stabbing at them with their sword, releasing an electrical charge upon impact with the ground.

Trivia
- A Light elemental character resembling a Shadow Knight was planned to be a playable character during the production of Spyro's Kingdom.[1]
- They don’t have hurt animations.
- The Shadow Knight uses a grayscaled version of Chop Chop's Arkeyan chestplate.
- Shadow Knights have multiple idle stances before they start attacking.
- The first Shadow Knight you encounter in Creepy Citadel can be hit with ranged attacks before his enemy introduction cutscene plays, but he can’t be defeated, as he is scripted to be invincible until after his cutscene is finished.
- Strangely, Shadow Knights can walk on the whirlpools on the right of the main entrance to the Creepy Citadel and in the first room of the citadel without being defeated, even though they can’t fly and aren’t of the Water element.
- Due to a glitch, for a couple seconds after they’re defeated, while their armor is crumbling, they can still be “hit” by attacks (damage numbers will still appear).
- In the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 version of Spyro's Adventure, Shadow Knights only have one idle pose.
- Rarely, the two Shadow Knights that are brought up by a platform in the final enemy guantlet before you fight Kaos in Lair Of Kaos will fail to walk from their platform to the main area where you are. They will fall out of the level and die instantly. Sometimes this only happens to one of the Knights.
- Two of the four Shadow Knights that appear with the Tech Spell Punk guarding one of the keys in the XPEC versions of Lair Of Kaos will aggro on you and attempt to stab you with their swords while you are on the platform riding down to the island that they are on, but they’ll never be able to actually hit you until you reach the island.
