Power Pods are plants that allow you to upgrade your Skylanders. One Power Pod is stationed in Woodburrow and protected by Gorm, but others are set up within the levels of Skylanders: Swap Force. Power Pods replace Persephone in the game.

Trivia

• Power Pods were originally planned to return in Skylanders: SuperChargers.^[1]
• There is a glitch where when you leave the Power Pod in Woodburrow, and jump back in it quickly while it is closing, you get stuck in the Power Pod. You can get out by walking out.
• According to dialogue in Swap Force's alpha, Power Pods run on fairy magic.^[2] This explains how they take over Persephone's role in upgrading Skylanders.
