Flying Critters are arthropod-like creatures seen flying around in the skies of various levels in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, Skylanders: Giants, and Skylanders: Trap Team. Most of the ones encountered are blue, but orange Flying Critters can be seen flying around Cube Dungeon and Lockdown Islands.

In Sky Schooner Docks, some Flying Critters fly in front of the turrets with gems on their backs. Then one individual was seen flying around the Ruins. In Glacier Gully, many Flying Critters were seen flying around. In The Ultimate Weapon, the Flying Critters were seen flying around.

• These creatures are never given a name in any media in the Skylanders franchise, and the "Flying Critter" name is taken from concept art and other outside sources.
• In Giants opening, a Flying Critter was making whale noises.
