The Evil Pyro Archer is the evil duplicate of Flameslinger and one of Kaos’ minions. In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, he is the first of three bosses fought at the end of Lava Lakes Railway, where he and the other two minions must be defeated in order to collect the Eternal Fire Source. The Evil Pyro Archer also appears during the final battle with Kaos at Castle Blackthrone.
In Skylanders: Giants, three Evil Pyro Archers appear simultaneously within the Fire Battle area of the Fire Elemental Gate in the Lost City of Arkus.
Abilities
Having identical abilities to Flameslinger, the Evil Pyro Archer shoots five arrows in a row, then dashes to a new location and fires again. He will also occasionally unleash a charged-up Inferno Blast arrow that leaves a flame trail.
In Giants, initially, each archer shoots a single arrow before pausing. When one is defeated, the remaining two increase their attack rate, firing two arrows in a row before pausing. Finally, when only one archer remains, it fires three arrows in a row before pausing. They will walk around the battlefield without using the Flame Dash ability until only one archer remains, at which point the lone archer begins using the Flame Dash.
