Chance is a Seadog Pirate who first appeared in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. He is part of Dreadbeards band of pirates of who occupy Plunder Island. Along with his crew, he plundered the Coconut Islands and captured the town's citizens. He is encountered in front of a drawbridge after the Mayor is rescued, where he challenges the Skylanders to beat his PIRATE CURSE DECK.

He later reappeared in Skylanders: Giants, where he is one of the pirates running the Cutthroat Carnival. He can be found inside the boathouse, offering to help the Skylanders pull in the Galleon Ship if they can beat him at Skystones.
